It is a portal not only to our diplomatic mission, but also to our beautiful bilingual, bicultural and indeed multicultural country. Cameroon is often referred to as “ Africa in miniature” because it encompasses the ecological and ethnic diversity of the continent.
Cameroon and South Africa share much in common: the diversity of their peoples and geography, the particularities that shaped the history of both countries and the challenges of nation-building in a global context marked by destabilising and disruptive forces.
Nevertheless, both countries are laboratories for social reconciliation and for forging hope for ongoing continental integration and African renaissance.
They are endowed with numerous natural resources and above all with dynamic youthful populations whose ingenuity and innovative spirit can be leveraged to consolidate bilateral relations in a rapidly emerging New Africa.
